Housing/Homelessness

Organization: The Lamb Center***

The Lamb Center is a daytime drop-in shelter for individuals (our guests) who are experiencing homelessness in Fairfax, Virginia. We provide breakfast, lunch, showers, laundry service, Bible studies, case management, employment opportunities, housing and job counseling, AA meetings, small group opportunities, nurse practitioner services, a dental clinic, and much more.

Organization: OAR: Project Connection
OAR is a community-based nonprofit organization that envisions a safe & thriving community where those impacted by the legal system enjoy equal civil & human rights. Through our Upstream work, we are confronting & dismantling individual racism & racism in the legal system & across all systems. Our Downstream work allows us to be on the journey with individuals returning from incarceration & their families. We also offer alternative sentencing options (including community service) and diversion programs so people can avoid the trauma of incarceration & instead help the community thrive.

Caring for families with a community of support. When a child is in the hospital, family stays. And we stay with them.

Human Trafficking

A Northern Virginia nonprofit preventing human trafficking and restoring survivors through outreach, advocacy, and aftercare.
